We are happy to welcome you to the Bell-Clemmons House. The home was built during the Civil War, completely renovated in 2004. It has a long history of interesting guests and was a boarding house in the early 1900's. These days, we provide our guests with a relaxed atmosphere within walking distance of the shops, restaurants, and waterfront of our charming little city.
The Bell-Clemmons House has three guest rooms – each with full baths. The rooms are decorated with an eclectic mix of antiques and cottage style pieces, many found in local shops.
Guests can relax with a beverage at their leisure on the balcony or porches.
Located upstairs at the south part of the home, the Savannah Room is our largest featuring a king bed, a wonderful settee chair to relax/read/nap and a larger private bath with tub shower. The room offers a door to the balcony porch which overlooks beautiful live oaks on the street. Its décor is inspired by city of Savannah which is often referred to as “the hostess city of the south.”
For your pleasure, the Savannah Room is available all week with a two night minimum stay Friday through Sunday
Located upstairs at the east side of the house, the Outer Banks room has a king size bed and private bath with a tub shower. Inspired by the beauty of the Outer Banks of North Carolina, the décor provides a relaxing stay in the beautiful seaside town of Southport.
For your pleasure the Outer Banks Room is available 7 nights a week with a two night minimum stay for Friday through Sunday nights
Located upstairs the Key West room has a queen size bed and private bath with tub shower. Inspired by the city of Key West, a seaside town like Southport, the cozy room provides a view of the outside patio gardens.
For your pleasure the Key West Room is available all week with a two night minimum stay on weekends.
